The LIX Centennial Meeting of the Polish Botanical Society will be held in Warsaw from June 26 to July 3, 2022.
The motto of the LIX Congress of the Polish Botanical Society, coinciding with the Society’s 100th anniversary in 2022, serves as the guiding principle of the Society: “Amor plantarum nos unit – We are united by our love of plants,” expressing in a timeless way the foundation of the work of Polish botanists.
In addition, on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Polish Botanical Society, wishing to highlight the contributions of Polish botanists to world science and to recall the development of botany after Poland regained its independence, at the Society’s request on November 26, 2021. The Senate of the Republic of Poland established 2022 as the Year of Botany.
