We invite you to the lecture of prof. Sabino A. Bufo from University of Basilicata (Italy). Professor will give a lecture “Plant Secondary Metabolites in Cooperative Investigations” prepared as part of a series of lectures “AMU Invited Lectures Series In Current Approaches in Eco-Physiology”. At the lecture, prof. Bufo will introduce the topic of secondary plant metabolites for pest control and reduction of synthetic chemicals in plant protection, using of nanotechnology-based devices for water purification and recycling and last but not least subject of Super Critical Water Oxidation (SCWO) in the wastewater treatment.

Scientific career of prof. Sabino A. Bufo is associated with two Italian universities: the University of Bari and the University of Basilicata. In his research work, prof. Sabino Bufo focuses, among others, focuses on soil and water remediation, chemistry and biochemistry of pesticides, plant and microorganism derived pharmaceuticals, as well as the fate of xenobiotics in the environment.
